Season 2 shifts focus to a new CAB detective, DS Claire Wallace, who teams up with Belgian agent Christian de Jong to unravel a conspiracy linking diamond smuggling, bombings in Antwerp, and a mole within the Belgian CTU, all stemming from Bibi Brannigan's deal for immunity after her father-in-law's demise, uncovering a vast criminal network with escalating violence and high stakes for all involved.
