Max Short

Max Short is an American independent filmmaker from Wisconsin. He is known for creating psychological horror and found footage short films, with a focus on atmosphere, suspense, and practical filmmaking techniques. Developing an interest in filmmaking at a young age, Short began writing, directing, filming, and editing his own projects while studying cinematography, sound design, and film scoring. His early works include the short films Quenched and Wax & Wane, which showcase his interest in mood-driven storytelling and visual composition. He continues to develop original films while expanding his skills in directing, editing, and composing music for film.
